Job Summary:
A purchasing assistant provides technical and administrative assistance to a purchasing department by assisting with purchasing documentation, cross verifying the quotation received from the procurement team & the client Purchase order.
Main accountability:
? Get competitive quotations, negotiatefor best prices, compare and raise purchase orders
? Follow up on purchase orders
? Follow up with suppliers/ vendors for status on orders
? Working with accounts payable regarding suppliers/ Vendor invoice
? Maintaining and entering purchase orders, purchasing reports Assistence to the purchase department
